状元榜：墨大预录40人华生占近半名额

全州拔尖的40名學生已經收到了墨爾本大學的獎學金，其中有39人在就讀期間還可獲得每年5000元的補助。
只有ATAR成績在99.9或以上的學子才有資格申請墨爾本大學的全國獎學金項目。有4名原住民學生也拿到了墨大的獎學金。

*Melbourne High一下子出了5名男生狀元，這在學校歷史上還是第一次。
*Caulfield Grammar School捷報頻傳，12個單科項目，有23人奪得了滿分。38%的該校學生躋身全州前10%。
*Mount Scopus Memorial College絕對是全維州排名前1%的高中，校長Rabbi James Kennard都承認本屆畢業生們創下了新的紀錄。有兩名學生ATAR成績為滿分，還有10名學生在5個單科項目中奪得了滿分。該校30%的學生ATAR平均分在99或以上，30%成績在95以上，還有46%的成績在90分或以上。
*當在線查到自己考了99.5分的時候，John Monash學生Sarah Sims簡直不敢相信自己的眼睛。“我看到成績之後懷疑自己是不是看錯了，使勁刷新頁面，才發現原來是真的啊！”雖然依這樣的成績可以申請墨爾本大學的很多專業，但Sarah還是打算申請自然科學專業。
*祝賀Mac.Roberston女校的Sophie Wann。這位來自醫生世家的女孩也考到了99.95的滿分。打算到墨爾本大學學習科學專業的她希望自己以後也能從事醫藥工作。最新消息顯示，Mac.Roberston女校的ATAR平均是全州最高的，達到了96.8分，14%的女生ATAR成績在99分或以上，81.7%考到了90分，16人單科成績滿分。
*Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School表現不凡，有三名學生ATAR拿到了滿分。這三名學子分別是Lochlan Brick，Vicky Chen和Denise Chew。
今年17歲的Vicky Chen打算申請墨爾本大學的生物醫學專業，考到99.95分的她高興地表示：“我給自己定的目標就是一定要上90分，這下可算實現了。”
