这一天，值得我们一起庆祝！
早在1788年之前，原住民在我们现在所知的澳大利亚大陆上已经生活了6万多年。
1788年的1月26日，阿瑟.菲利普（Arthur Phillip）船长首次登陆杰克森港（Port Jackson，即今天的悉尼海港）并在那里插上了英国国旗，将澳洲列入大英的国土。后来来自世界各地的移民纷纷踏上这土地，澳洲因此成为多元文化之国。
1994年起，澳大利亚政府将1月26日定为「澳洲国庆日」（Australia Day）开始举国庆祝这个属于澳洲人的节日。
现代澳大利亚的历史长河从18世纪开始，缓缓流淌了二百五十多年，这是一个很长的故事。1818年，来自广州的麦世英远赴重洋地来到了悉尼，成为已知的踏上澳大利亚这片土地的第一位中国人。从此，澳洲华人也在澳大利亚历史长篇里留下了浓墨重彩的篇章。
此心安处是吾家，作为新一代移民，我们热爱这个美丽的国度，我们对这里的一切都充满好奇，我们渴望更广泛、更全面地了解脚下这片土地的过去、现在和将来。

举办庆祝澳洲国庆活动，邀请在墨尔本的华人朋友们欢聚一堂，在这里，您既能见到久违的老友，又能结识新的商界精英、文艺达人、体坛明星，我们一起举杯畅饮，共襄澳洲国庆！
澳大利亚云登市亚洲商会（ABAW）多年来一直致力于建立多元化并具凝聚力的社区和繁荣的商业环境。在联邦政府National Australia Day Council (NADC) 的支持下，云登商会开始走出西区举办国庆庆祝活动，不仅旨在与更多的华人朋友欢庆双节（国庆与春节），还想与更多的商家和企业切磋交流，在后疫情时代信息共享、资源整合。
庆祝活动上，我们将邀请州议员，云登市市长，白马市市长、墨尔本市前市长等嘉宾与我们一起共襄国庆。
作为联邦政府National Australia Day Council (NADC)最高级别的活动支持项目。
我们被授权颁发以下奖项：成就奖励证书 certificate of achievement
年度公民证书 citizen of year certificate
年度青年公民证书 young citizen of year certificate
年度志愿者证书 volunteer of year certificate
体育证书 sports award certificate
年度社区活动证书 community event of year certificate
社区服务奖证书 community service award certificate
感谢证书 certificate of appreciation
同时，我们还有多个抽奖及知识问答游戏，奖品有签名球衣、签名篮球……
这次的活动作为Australia Day官方授权项目之一，将在澳大利亚Australia Day官方网站统一做宣传。
我们也将与媒体、博主们广泛合作，让社会各界了解墨尔本的华人社团在澳洲如何庆祝澳洲国庆节。

The Asian Business Association of Wyndham Inc (ABAW) in partnership with the Australia Day Council are pleased to present this year’s 2022 Australia Day Celebrations.
A great opportunity for our local Asian community to join in, be proud of Australia’s achievements and acknowledge our countries united ability to thrive and prosper.
Acknowledging that we all had to cope with a particularly challenging year, the event will celebrate and present the following achievers:Achievers

Invited guests from State Government, Mayor’s and Councillors from the City of Melbourne, City of Wyndham, City of Whitehorse, as well as leading community leaders will be assisting with the presentation of the awards.
To present the Australia Day – ABAW 2022 Sports Award, we are particularly pleased to have join us the S.E. Melbourne Phoenix, our young professional NBL team, who are on their way to great achievements.
The Asian Business Association Wyndham Inc (ABAW) is a non-for-profit organisation registered in Victoria. It aims to serve residents and enterprises within the City of Wyndham and beyond and provide its members the opportunity to network and share resources to build a culturally diverse and cohesive community and a prosperous business environment.
ABAW has been working towards building a diverse cultural and yet united community with business opportunities across Melbourne. With the support of the National Australia Day Council, we have decided to locate our celebrations in Box Hill, the heart of Melbourne’s fast expanding Eastern suburbs.
Due to current Covid regulations, the event is only open to double vaccinated ticket holders, who will need to prove their vaccination status at the entry to the event.
