新州中央海岸的房市如此火爆，以至於27個郊區的房產一年的漲幅甚至高過了房主的年薪。《Express Advocate》的研究發現，房地產熱點地區12個月的房價漲幅比澳洲家庭的平均收入還高。
根據Core Logic RP Data以及澳洲統計局的數據，久負盛名的Holgate區名列榜單之首，截至今年2月的1年裡，房價飆漲的部分與家庭年薪之間相差近19萬6000澳元。
名列第二的是Blue Bay，同期房價漲幅比家庭年薪多出約11萬4000澳元。
沿海小鎮MacMasters Beach表現的也很突出，這裏的中位數房價一年內上漲了12萬1500澳元，比家庭年收入要多上6萬澳元。
