2013全美十佳最棒城市：波特蘭榮登榜首
美國房地產公司Moveto在其博客中發布了“2013年全美十佳最棒城市”（America’s 10 Best Cities for 2013），西雅圖榮登榜單，排名第三，落後于波特蘭和亞特蘭大。
“全美十佳最棒城市”依次為：波特蘭（俄勒岡州）、亞特蘭大（喬治亞州）、西雅圖（華盛頓州）、舊金山（加州）、華盛頓特區、羅利（北卡羅來納州）、聖地亞哥（加州）、丹佛（科羅拉多州）、邁阿密（佛羅里達州）、拉斯維加斯（內華達州）。
與以往城市排行榜著重於失業率、生活水平不同，Moveto進行了一些大胆、有趣的嘗試，分別製作了15個單項榜單，對全美人口人多的50個城市進行排名，然後綜合15項排名得分，最終選出十大最棒的城市。
這15個單項榜單分別是：最差穿衣城市、最極客城市、最令人興奮的城市、最家庭友好型城市、最不健康城市、最聰明的城市、最聖潔的城市、最勤奮的城市、最蒸汽朋克的城市、最有趣的城市、美食愛好者最差城市、最光鮮的城市、肉類愛好者最佳城市、電影愛好者最佳城市、購房者最佳城市。
西雅圖以最勤奮城市排名第一，美食愛好者最佳城市第二名，最極客城市第三名，最聰明城市第三名，最健康城市第四名，最令人興奮的城市第四名，以及最光鮮城市第五名的成績，榮登榜單第三名，但卻輸給了波特蘭。
