最近以來，總理姬拉蒂在曾擔任工會主席的前男友疑似挪用公款一事上備受攻擊，被指曾幫助前男友設立基金，用工會資金買房自住，雖然姬拉蒂一再否認，但反對黨仍窮追不捨，甚至要求其在議會上把事情的來龍去脈說清楚。一直以來，姬拉蒂總理的前男友威爾森始終保持沉默，但今日，曾擔任工會主席的他終於開腔護花，宣稱總理對1990年代的基金欺詐醜聞絲毫不知情。威爾森表示，姬拉蒂對這件事情「絕對一丁點也不知道。」
