早在1788年之前，原住民在我們現在所知的澳大利亞大陸上已經生活了6萬多年。
1788年的1月26日，阿瑟.菲利普（Arthur Phillip）船長首次登陸傑克森港（Port Jackson，即今天的悉尼海港）並在那裡插上了英國國旗，將澳洲列入大英的國土。後來來自世界各地的移民紛紛踏上這土地，澳洲因此成為多元文化之國。
1994年起，澳大利亞政府將1月26日定為「澳洲國慶日」（Australia Day）開始舉國慶祝這個屬於澳洲人的節日。
現代澳大利亞的歷史長河從18世紀開始，緩緩流淌了二百五十多年，這是一個很長的故事。1818年，來自廣州的麥世英遠赴重洋地來到了悉尼，成為已知的踏上澳大利亞這片土地的第一位中國人。從此，澳洲華人也在澳大利亞歷史長篇里留下了濃墨重彩的篇章。
此心安處是吾家，作為新一代移民，我們熱愛這個美麗的國度，我們對這裏的一切都充滿好奇，我們渴望更廣泛、更全面地了解腳下這片土地的過去、現在和將來。

舉辦慶祝澳洲國慶活動，邀請在墨爾本的華人朋友們歡聚一堂，在這裏，您既能見到久違的老友，又能結識新的商界精英、文藝達人、體壇明星，我們一起舉杯暢飲，共襄澳洲國慶！
澳大利亞雲登市亞洲商會（ABAW）多年來一直致力於建立多元化並具凝聚力的社區和繁榮的商業環境。在聯邦政府National Australia Day Council (NADC) 的支持下，雲登商會開始走出西區舉辦國慶慶祝活動，不僅旨在與更多的華人朋友歡慶雙節（國慶與春節），還想與更多的商家和企業切磋交流，在後疫情時代信息共享、資源整合。
慶祝活動上，我們將邀請州議員，雲登市市長，白馬市市長、墨爾本市前市長等嘉賓與我們一起共襄國慶。
作為聯邦政府National Australia Day Council (NADC)最高級別的活動支持項目。
我們被授權頒發以下獎項：成就獎勵證書 certificate of achievement
年度公民證書 citizen of year certificate
年度青年公民證書 young citizen of year certificate
年度志願者證書 volunteer of year certificate
體育證書 sports award certificate
年度社區活動證書 community event of year certificate
社區服務獎證書 community service award certificate
感謝證書 certificate of appreciation
同時，我們還有多個抽獎及知識問答遊戲，獎品有簽名球衣、簽名籃球……
這次的活動作為Australia Day官方授權項目之一，將在澳大利亞Australia Day官方網站統一做宣傳。
我們也將與媒體、博主們廣泛合作，讓社會各界了解墨爾本的華人社團在澳洲如何慶祝澳洲國慶節。

The Asian Business Association of Wyndham Inc (ABAW) in partnership with the Australia Day Council are pleased to present this year』s 2022 Australia Day Celebrations.
A great opportunity for our local Asian community to join in, be proud of Australia』s achievements and acknowledge our countries united ability to thrive and prosper.
Acknowledging that we all had to cope with a particularly challenging year, the event will celebrate and present the following achievers:Achievers

Invited guests from State Government, Mayor』s and Councillors from the City of Melbourne, City of Wyndham, City of Whitehorse, as well as leading community leaders will be assisting with the presentation of the awards.
To present the Australia Day – ABAW 2022 Sports Award, we are particularly pleased to have join us the S.E. Melbourne Phoenix, our young professional NBL team, who are on their way to great achievements.
The Asian Business Association Wyndham Inc (ABAW) is a non-for-profit organisation registered in Victoria. It aims to serve residents and enterprises within the City of Wyndham and beyond and provide its members the opportunity to network and share resources to build a culturally diverse and cohesive community and a prosperous business environment.
ABAW has been working towards building a diverse cultural and yet united community with business opportunities across Melbourne. With the support of the National Australia Day Council, we have decided to locate our celebrations in Box Hill, the heart of Melbourne』s fast expanding Eastern suburbs.
Due to current Covid regulations, the event is only open to double vaccinated ticket holders, who will need to prove their vaccination status at the entry to the event.
