澳洲正在迎來疫情的高峰期,我相信隨著政府加大力度的管控,疫情會在幾個月間逐步被控制住。但由於疫情帶來的失業問題則會像後遺症一樣,不會短時間消散,由此帶來的房東與房客矛盾,是我們無法逃避的問題。
所以我想挺身而出為我們這個族裔盡一分力。我分別在澳洲國會的網站和網上專門的請願網站Change.org發起了保護地產投資人的請願活動。
目前國會的請願還在審核中。change.org 已經把我的請願發出,希望大家可以簽名支持。這種請願是一種自發行為,讓整個社會聽到我們的聲音,目前還沒有人為投資人站出來說話,所以我來做第一個。
當企業的利益無法保障時,企業不可能不賺錢還養著員工。當房東的利益無法保障時,哪還會願意提供房屋給房客。有恆產才有恆心啊。

作為房東我們服從也願意支持政府的法令,在我們能力範圍內減租,免租給那些收入受影響的租客,也不會驅趕無力支付租金的租客。
我們所要求的是,當疫情疫情結束時,我們和任何一個普通澳洲人一樣能被公平公正的對待。絕大部分房東拿來投資的錢,都是靠辛勤工作,延遲享受得來的。
雖然租客失去了工作,但我們的日子也並不會容易,我們一樣要支付水費,電費,市政費,土地稅和銀行貸款。
我們希望政府可以出台相關法令,在這次疫情中當租客無法償還房東時,政府可以替他們支付拖欠的租金,或者可以免去相對應金額的土地稅和council rate來補償房東。
房地產投資者為了國家貢獻大量的稅收和廉價的出租房,當你打擊他們的信心時,誰還願意投資呢?
To the Speaker and the Members of the House of Representatives:When our country encounters such a disaster that has not happened in a century, I believe that everyone has a responsibility to contribute ,so that the whole nation can survive the crisis smoothly.
As a landlord, we are respect and willing to support the government』s new legislation on tenant protection during the COVID-19 crisis 。
We will give rent reduction within our ability and rent-free to those tenants whose income is affected by the COVID-19 crisis, and we will not evict tenants who cannot afford to pay rent during this period.
What we want is that when the epidemic finishes, we will be treated just like any other ordinary Australians. The money that landlord uses to invest, comes from their hard work and delay enjoyment of life. We landlord are the tax residents of Australia and also need to be protected by government.
Tenants lost their jobs, but some landlords harder than their tenants. The landlords may also lose their jobs, but they still need to pay water, electricity, council rate, land taxes and bank loans bills
.
We hope that the government can issue relevant laws and regulations. In this outbreak, if the tenants are unable to pay the landlord, we hope the government can pay the rent arrears instead. Or the government should waive the corresponding amount of land tax and council rate to compensate the landlord.
Property investors contribute a lot of taxes and cheap rental houses for the country. When you blow their confidence, who is willing to invest?
