172公校逾3萬教職工明日罷課（附名單）

（澳洲新聞網訊）周四，維多利亞州將有逾170所公立學校關閉，數千名教師、校長和後勤工作人員將舉行罷工。
上周，聯邦法庭駁回了州府要求法院叫停此次罷工的申請，稱州府未能提供有力的證據證明擬行的勞工行動不只未受保護，而且不合法規。
周四，來自172所學校的逾3萬名教職工將離開工作崗位，為自己爭取合理的加薪協議。去年9月份的大規模罷工中，約400所公校全部關閉。

澳洲教育工會（AEU）維多利亞州分會的主席Meredith Peace稱，每一所公校都將受到影響。「我們的成員表示，他們對於州府放任薪資糾紛遷延如此之長的時間非常地失望和憤怒。我們認為，此次罷工的規模或將與去年9月份的一樣大，甚至有可能更大規模。」
周四，很多學校仍將開放，但只有基幹工作人員（skelton staff）。預計天主教學校也有近3500名教職工參加此次罷工。
上周六，維多利亞州教育廳投放廣告，稱在周四的罷工行動中，學校須履行其義務，保證學生得到照看。

Peace稱，雖然這一薪資糾紛已經讓教師們身心俱疲，但是他們將一直努力至州府願意提供合理的加薪為止。此前，工會要求百魯政府踐行選戰承諾，在未來3年為教師加薪30%，但現在已經將要求降至12.6%，但政府卻仍只願意提供2.5%的基本加薪，外加績效獎金。
