澳入籍考試通過率曝光！近10萬申請者掛科！這幾類簽證持有者最容易被拒
令人震驚的新數據顯示，去年每三名參加考試澳大利亞人中就有一人未能通過入籍考試。
隨著移民和社會凝聚力成為下屆大選的關鍵戰場，《先驅太陽報》（Herald Sun）披露，雖然2024年有超過18.3萬人參加了入籍考試，但只有12.2萬人通過了考試。
反對黨此前曾指責工黨忽視了向新公民傳授身為澳大利亞人的意義，該黨表示，新數據令人 “深感憂慮”。
本周，自由黨黨魁頓（Peter Dutton）誓要迫使市議會在1月26日澳洲日舉辦入籍儀式，此前工黨做出了一項有爭議的決定，允許市議會在澳洲日前後3天舉辦入籍儀式。
年齡在 18 歲至 59 歲之間申請成為公民的人必須參加考試，並正確回答 20 道選擇題中的 15 道。模擬考試包括有關澳大利亞歷史和法律、誰可以致歡迎辭、選舉權、澳新軍團日紀念誰以及國家首都是哪裡等問題。要想通過考試，申請人必須正確回答所有五道有關 “自由、尊重和平等 “?的澳大利亞價值觀問題，並且總分至少達到 75%。

不過，未能通過考試的申請人最多可在三次不同的預約中嘗試通過考試。莫里森政府在 2020 年將有關澳大利亞價值觀的問題納入公民考試后，考試通過率開始下降。
反對黨移民事務發言人丹-泰漢（Dan Tehan）表示，這些數字令人 “深感憂慮”。”對於我們的國家而言，建立社會凝聚力從未像現在這樣重要。然而，這些數字顯示越來越多的人未能通過公民資格考試，”
泰漢先生說，”工黨花了 12 個月的時間進行多元文化框架審查，並提供了 1 億澳元作為補充，但唯一的實際結果卻是越來越多的人未能通過考試。”
內政部的數據顯示，未通過測試的人數最多的群體是持有人道主義簽證的人，其次是持有家庭和技術簽證的人。2024年參加入籍測試的人數比上一年減少了近6萬人，原因是大流行病後移民人數激增，紐西蘭公民可直接入籍。
內政部的一名發言人表示，在過去6年，超80%的申請者第一次參加入籍考試就能通過，整體通過率約為95%。
他說：「政府致力於確保澳洲入籍測試符合目的，給申請者提供一個『平等的機會』，不會對試圖獲得澳洲公民身份的人造成無意的阻礙。」
去年7月發布的一份報告建議緊急審查入籍測試程序，考慮使用英語以外的語言以及更易獲取的測試形式，但政府尚未確認會否進行改革。
澳大利亞難民委員會（Refugee Council of Australia）此前曾提出過這樣的擔憂，即該測試會懲罰英語水平低的人，如識字機會有限的難民社區中的婦女，並將通過測試的家庭與未通過測試的家庭分割開來。公民身份測試資料手冊至少有 40 種語言版本。

價值觀部分包括澳大利亞的核心價值和社會規則等。
導致入籍考試通過率降低的最主要原因很可能就是2020年的時候入籍考試題引入了專門的關於澳大利價值觀部分的測試，並要求全部答對。
